Nestlé Purina is a key business mentor in the Scientists in the Classroom program at Sinagua Middle School. They are partnered with the program's founder, Jillian Worssam, and one of her 8th grade science classes.

Amy Kerr, Plant Manager, and a growing contingent of the Flagstaff plant employees, have developed a monthly curriculum based on their production cycle and the STEM-related jobs at their company. They also incorporate 21st Century Skills to prepare students for careers in the future.

On February 13th, 2015, the team divided the classroom into small groups and prepared them for their first jobs by hosting mock interviews. The eagerly engaged students now have more confidence and skills for when they enter the Flagstaff workforce!
