Check out free STEM kits 

Free STEM Kits are available to all educators in the Flagstaff community. These kits are offered through Coconino County Education Service Agency and NAU's Science Teaching and Learning Center. 
ENGINEERING IS ELEMENTARY KITS
Engineering is Elementary
is an award-winning engineering education program out of the Museum of Science, Boston. There are THREE sources for EiE kits in Flagstaff. You can learn more about Engineering is Elementary at the EiE website.​

​STEM City has six kits available thanks to a grant from the Arizona Community Foundation of Flagstaff, the W.L. Gore and Associates fund, and the Ernest and Evelyn Chilson Fund. to build kits for Out-of-School Time (OST) experiences. You do NOT need to be EiE trained to request these kits.

GRADES 6-8 ENGINEERING EVERYWHERE KITS
Engineering Ice Cream (Food for Thought!)
Urban Landscapes (Don’t Runoff!)
Insulated Homes (Here Comes the Sun!)
Check Out Procedure:
To request a kit please send an email to coordinator@flagstaffstemcity.com. Include your name, contact number, school or organization (if applicable), and the kit name.

We can arrange a time for you to pick up the kit from the STEM City office or a representative can drop it off at your school.
On average, kits are loaned out for approximately 4 weeks. This depends on the length of the unit and the time period can be extended if needed.

TGen Kits:

TGen offers Bioscience kits geared towards middle and high school students, Teachers can request an expert from TGen come with the kit to help facilitate classroom learning. Click the links below to find more information on each kit
