STEM RESOURCES

Part of our mission at STEM City is to strengthen STEM literacy and encourage meaningful opportunities that support STEM learning in our community.
On this page you will find a variety of STEM Education resources that are free to use.

STEM Kits

With the help of our funders, we offer a collection of STEM kits available for check out. These kits are available to educators, STEM Club advisers, home school parents, and out-of-school-time programs. Currently, we offer BioScience kits and EiE (Engineering is Elementary) kits suitable for students ranging from 3rd to 12th grade. You do not need to be trained to request these kits.

Please note, the STEM City EiE kits are designed for Out-of-School Time (OST). Some modification may be necessary if they are to be used during regular classroom time.

Coconino County Education Service Agency (CCESA) offers STEM kits specific to classroom time that can be checked out for free after training has been provided.

Find more information regarding kit descriptions here.

To request a kit please send an email to coordinator@flagstaffstemcity.com. Include your name, contact number, school or organization (if applicable), and the kit name.
