Join us for the
2022 STEM CELEBRATION

Saturday, April 30, 2022
1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Ft. Tuthill

We're excited for a return to an in-person, hands-on event
with the 9th Annual Community STEM Celebration!
This is an opportunity
for all of Flagstaff to engage with the STEM community
(K-12, college and university educational institutions, businesses, government agencies, non-profits, and others).

Hands-on activities, demonstrations and conversations excite participants, expose the community to STEM educational and career opportunities in Flagstaff and celebrate Flagstaff's designation as "America's First STEM Community."

Flagstaff Community STEM Celebration

2021 STEM Nights     The 8th Annual STEM Celebration in 2021 was held as a totally virtual event over several evenings beginning Monday, May 3rd.  Participating organizations created science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematic video presentations highlighting their work in the greater Flagstaff community.  The resources were also made available to educators as classroom materials to enhance learning opportunities in local schools.

As always, the STEM Celebration was a great opportunity for local students to see what STEM careers look like on the other side of their classes and graduation.  One of the virtual presentations highlighted the annual STEMMY Awards.

2019 STEM Celebration

The 6th Annual Flagstaff STEM Celebration took place on Monday, March 11th, 2019. The event once again took place in the Northern Arizona University Walkup Skydome.

We had 110 exhibitors
showcasing how they are part of our STEM community. These exhibitors were part of local non-profits, businesses, government organizations, NAU, CCC and the Flagstaff Unified School District.

When entering, attendees were greeted by one of our sponsors, McCarthy Construction, handing our bags for people to collect their hand outs and crafts in.

We would like to thank our sponsors Northern Arizona University, McCarthy Construction, APS, Flagstaff Arts Council, Altice, Flagstaff 365, and the Flagstaff Unified School District for helping us put on another successful STEM Celebration.
